I am going to be getting my machine on Tuesday. All they told me was that it was this : ds460hf or ds460hs. Does anybody know anything or where i can find some info about this model. Thank you much

Re: Question
Those are straight CPAP machines. If you hang around here very long, you will probably end up wishing you had an auto machine.allenw88 wrote:I am going to be getting my machine on Tuesday. Personally, I would refuse delivery. YMMV.

Re: Question
The 460 is the PR System one 60 series Pro CPAP with CFlex...heated hose may be considered optional but it is available.
It's this machine here...full data..and it does have some limited time where it will function in apap mode but my own preference would be the model 560 which has apap mode available full time...just in case it is needed.
This machine

and this humidifier

Re: Question
Hi allenw88,
The above answers filled in most of what I would say. I like it -- it is the machine I use, except that 460HS you are being offered does not have the heated hose (mine is 460TS, which does). Here is the manufacturer's data sheet:
http://www.healthcare.philips.com/pwc_h ... ndAuto.pdf
If the above machine is being paid for by insurance and they won't budge about upgrading it to the 560 model (auto), don't feel too bad. It is a full data machine with good ratings. But if you want to push for an Auto machine, ask if they can substitute the 560. If you are in a HMO you might not have a choice. Call your insurance company to ask - you might not get an accurate answer from your supplier (They get paid the same reimbursement no matter which one, and the Auto is just a little bit more expensive).
