Tell me how this mask vents. I looked at the pictures and it's hard to tell.
Does it vent left and right?

I just looked at some Bing images and think I understand now. It comes from the front and shoots up at about a 45 degree angle.

I'm thinking about it.

Bryan:

It vents almost directly out from the vent at the bottom of the hose connected to the pillows frame which has a slight swivel socket, pretty unobtrusive!

That is a problem because I don't like air blowing on my forearm. I sleep on my stomach, head right and arm up to the head of the bed.
I have a tappap but the air blowing me is an issue so I don't us it. I need that air to shoot up and not out.

Bryan:

Our hosts that run CPAP.COM here have a new mask from Resmed called the AirFit P10 which I have tried and I can tell you it has almost no exhaust air at all, due to the brilliant design. Read about it on CPAP.COM and read the reviews! Also any questions ask them, they will help you! Been doing business with them since Johnny's father started the business and they are the best!

Hope this helps!

Totally agree with what Steve has said about the AirFit P10. Give it a try.
The vent air flow is so diffused that I have to put my finger about 1/2 and inch away from it to feel it and when I do feel it...it's barely able to be felt at all.
It's stupid quiet too.
Compared to the Tap Pap venting....which is my main mask...it's about a 90 to 95% reduction in air flow from the vent holes.

Only drawback to the AirFit P10 that I could come up with was the headgear...it's essentially one size fits all and fitting adjustments are made by separating the top and back strap....didn't quite make it a perfect fit for me until the 3 rd night. Took some fiddling or maybe just a little giving of the elastic so that it wasn't too snug.
We have a thread with a few reviews on it here. Brand new...just been out about a week or so.

Free return insurance from cpap.com...if you hate it you can get your money back.
