When I first got my equipment I tried using the pillows for a month. They got floppy after about 2-3 weeks just kept adjusting the back strap. Didn't know they should be washed... So when I started getting 2 per month I changed them regularly on the 1st and 15th. The new ones seen to have a sweet smile whicch I find pleasant. I will start washing them daily now.
Getting my CPAP machine was the best thing ever. I call her my BFF.

Will you update us in 2-3 of trying to daily wipe them? I would love to hear the results (if any).

Any suggestion of what I am doing, or not doing, that could be causing this problem? How long do you long time users find these pillows last?
Not sure if this is the case with your mask, but I had what I thought was a similar problem until I noticed the swift FX pillows have flow nozzles inside and slightly smaller than the outer "cones" that seal into your nostrils. When cleaning them I probably pushed the inner nozzles down and into the pillow -- in effect turning them inside out without realizing it. You can't really see there is a problem, however the outer cones won't seal into your nostrils properly.

I went a few nights with poor fits and large leaks until I figured out what was going on. I was able to pop the inner nozzles back into position by removing the hose from the pillow and sticking my finger through the mask's hose orifice and through the nostril cones. When back position, the inner nozzles should be sitting just inside the outer nostril cones.

I now know I sometimes push the inner nozzles inside out when washing the mask, so I always check they're back in their proper position before using it.

Oh yeah that's what it must be! Happened to me once too - they don't work when turned inward like that. In the instruction booklet, there's a picture showing this with an X on it. But who reads that, right?

I checked and that was not the problem. Really good suggestion though, thanks!
