Leak Chart Scale

Hi! I have been reading/lurking since I began on CPAP on December 10, 2013. I have learned a great deal from you all, and appreciate all your wisdom. I have downloaded sleepyhead, and have read through all the information on interpreting the data. However, I still have a question about the Flow chart. The scale on the left ranges from 0 to 136 L/m at some times when i look at it, and other times it ranges from 0-20 L/m. I thought I was losing my mind, so I kept jumping around from one day to another. The SAME dates will show me variations when go back to them. Now, from what I've read about the S9 (my machine), large leak territory begins at 24 L/m. When I look at the list of statistics it always shows correct #'s (at least that's what I have to assume.) I just want to understand why it is doing that. Any tips to avoid leaks would be appreciated as well. I don't think I open my mouth much when I sleep; I rarely wake with dry mouth. Maybe I do & I just don't know it???

In any case, the therapy seems to be working as far at the API shows. The problem is I am not feeling at all rested though, because I wake up for every little leak. I had started on the full face mask last month, but switched to the nasal mask (listed) last week, and am finding it much more comfortable at least.

Just put the img address between the IMG brackets to get image to show up.

Any leak that disturbs sleep is unwanted ....even if it is a tiny leak because anything that disturbs sleep is unwanted.
So even if a person didn't technically spend much time in large leak territory for the therapy itself to be negatively impacted..it is still possible for sleep quality to suffer. Hours of sleep and fragmented sleep impact how we feel a lot more than people realize.

The first part of your night the leak line looks great...gets a big ugly towards morning. While still below 24 L/min territory it is fairly active and could very well disrupt sleep.

I agree 100%!!! I really have learned so much from everyone here in the weeks I have been reading. I have not had a decent night sleep in 20 years (since before kids! ) I really wish I could just sleep through the small leaks. Like I said, the apneas seem to be under control, but I'm still missing too much sleep to feel the positive benefits that I have been hoping for. I will keep going through old posts, in hopes of finding something that will be my "aha" moment.

Oh, and thank you for the tip on posting the images. I did try that, but maybe I had a space in there or something, because when I clicked "preview" it didn't show up. Or is it not going to show up in the preview screen?

I used the preview function to test out the address...so it does work. I imagine that you maybe had a little space somewhere that messed up the addy.
It took me a couple of tries to get the right combination of address and IMG brackets from the slide show addresses.

If you are copying that last line of addresses in that little box of addresses...omit the IMG brackets and just copy/ paste the entire bottom line of the address in the forum post and you will see this.
That last address already contains the IMG brackets.
