Tap Pap Rainout Issues

I am a lot like you. The room needs to be cool to sleep. Nothing is worse than waking up with excessive heat.
Just having a heated hose is not a complete fix to condensation issues.
Having a heated hose and a cover over the heated hose in a cold room (15 c / 60 f), will still result in some condensation in the mask. The hose cover that I use covers the smaller flexible hose that connects the mask to the heated hose. If the hose cover is pushed down to the mask, there is less condensation, but the hose cover tends to rub the nose. Just raising the hose cover results in small amounts of condensation. It is not too bad but it is irritating. The trick is to have some small amount of insulation. Pull just a sheet over the mask. Other blankets and comforters over the mask will overheat your head, so stick with a sheet over the mask.

If you can, find an inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner. It does an excellent job of cleaning the vents holes, mouthpiece and the nasal pads. They are like new for me after 10 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner.

I'll look into the ultrasonic cleaner. I do have a Pad-a-Cheek on the mask's small hose.

I can't stand a sheet over my head -- because the Tap Pap exhausts in front, a sheet over my head results in noise from the air blowing against the sheet.

I have a bed fan which I use even now because it can get so hot in the bedroom. (My husband is a furnace!)
