My granddaughter has an egg allergy which means the shots are not safe for her.
Blackspinner, So your daughter didn't get any the vaccine shots? How do you figure the shots are not safe for her? Did the doctors tell you this? How sick did she get before they figured out it was the eggs.

The increased rates of autism have less to do with the boogeyman du jour, and more do to with widening definitions of what is considered "autism" and people being more willing to accept that dianosis. Today's version of "autism" is underdiagnosed in adults, but what was considered "autism" forty or fifty years ago, when they were an age that the diagnosis is typically made, was more stigmatized and more severe.

And now, correlated with autism diagnoses is [url="http://m.imgur.com/1WZ6h"]organic food sales[url].

Everybody and their brother already know about the issue with eggs allergies and flu shots - and have know it for a long time. It is well documented and asked about at the time of getting flu shots. Her mother was warned when the allergy surfaced to not give her flu shots. Maybe if you did some REAL research you would know this.

Blackspinner, Not everybody and their brothers know everything there is to know about the vaccines and all the crap thats in them and the possible complications that you can get from them. And no doctors don't always ask or tell things before they go shooting you up. So when did it become apparent that she had allergies to eggs and what led them to look at that. How old was she at that time?

Unfortunately, when I worked in special education, it seemed that if a student had any symptom of autism, such as sensitivity to loud noises, they received the diagnosis. In my opinion, it was way over diagnosed.

I do agree with you that it is under diagnosed in adults. Not only is it under diagnosed, many professionals seem to think that it ends at 18 or in early adulthood based on the number of services for those age groups vs. nothing for people older who have the disorder.

Older people go to prison or they are homeless and bad health or drugs kills them off.

Don't get caught up in this diagnosis crap for an excuse of the autism epidemic. When these kids have autism they are messed up and have mental and or physical problems. Back in 50's they probably called them retards and put them psych wards. There is more cases of autism today than ever. Specialty education services are booming.

Your response doesn't make any sense at all regarding people with autism.

You have no idea what you're talking about as just like with any disability group, people vary with issues. And of course, you probably have no clue that there are many people with high functioning autism.

Anybody with any kind of ability to read can find it out. You just have to go to REAL websites with REAL information or you know maybe a BOOK. Also the allergies are the first thing they ask if you go to a clinic for your shots. So why don't you ASK your doctor why and what and what complications there are?

Egg allergies are easy to deduct - the kid get sick after eating eggs or react to the touch of raw eggs. Not rocket science. Flu shots have always been grown in eggs since day one of flu vaccines. If you didn't know that, with all the other crap you have been spouting, you obviously know absolutely nothing worth mentioning about flu shots or anything else to do with vaccines. I can't believe you didn't know that simple well known fact.

An egg-free flu vaccine was approved earlier last year, but availability may be slow, due to the added expense.

What kinds of problems are being covered up by a corrupt govt and corporate interests? The vaccines are just one area. Look at the fluoridation being forcibly put in the municipal water supplies. Look at the GMO food that are being grown that are known to cause illness? Attacks are coming from all directions. A sick society is a weak society that can be easily conquered and enslaved.

Older people go to prison or they are homeless and bad health or drugs kills them off.
Or they live healthy, contented, independent lives in the community (in nice warm houses or apartments) where the only people who know are themselves, their doctors, and perhaps a couple close friends. No drugs, just a little space set aside for their own needs and hobbies.
