I would also like to know what that card is on my machine...is it something I need to do somethng with or should my doctor be doing something with it?

Your profile shows that you have the Encore Pro software. The card on your machine is there to record the data from your machine. You show that you have the Remstar Pro 2, this machine will record your sleep events (ie apneas, hypopneas, snores) on the card. You can then use Encore Pro to download all this data to your computer to monitor your therapy. Ideally your doctor or RT would desire to download this data to verify that your therapy is working properly for you, but that very seldom happens.
