HELP!!

Post by phx1hab » Fri Dec 13, 2013 9:17 pm

I recently started using my CPAP machine again and it isn't recording the data to the SD Card. I've tried two separate cards with no luck. When I look at the files it has a folder named P-series with a couple of folders in it but Sleepy Head can't find any files to import so I can't see how I'm doing. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

I would uninstall SH and then reinstall. I had a similar situation and that's what I did.

Maybe SleepyHead has forgotten to look in the right place....where are you telling it to look? If you are telling it to look in the P Series folder you have gone too far...you must stop at the drive letter where the SD card sits.

In the Pserialnumber folder...there should be a P0 or P1 folder...this is where the data files are recorded.
3 file types
xxx.001
xxx.002
xxx.005

Look for recent dates as the data for last night will have a "modified date of today". If you see those files then the machine is writing to the SD card and you may need to check the path where SH is supposed to be looking. Sometimes SleepyHead forgets. I would try creating a new location for the import and make sure I stopped at the drive letter instead of going to the P series folder and see if that works.

SleepyHead warns (deep in the instructions) that Macs sometimes write weird stuff on the SD cards so you should click the little (physical) Write button off when putting the SD card into the computer. Then you have to remember to click it back on when putting it back in the machine. Would be good for future Sleepyhead instructions to put that warning right up front. Otherwise SH rocks.
