Hi all,
I've been using the DV54 machine since may 2012.
But past few weeks I have been quite lethargic during the day and by the time I get off from work, I'm like crawling to my bed haha
Here's my reading:
95th Percentile Pressure 10.5
90th Percentile Pressure 10.5
AHI 11.0
Pressure Plateau Time 28%
High Leak Flow Time 4%
NRI 1.25
EPI 3
SmartCode FP2W-BHD-
Previous day reading:
95th Percentile Pressure 9.5
90th Percentile Pressure 9.5
AHI 13.0
Pressure Plateau Time 31%
High Leak Flow Time 0%
NRI 0.75
EPI 4
My higher pressure is 10.5 (was 9.5 previous day)
Lower is 7.5 if I'm not wrong.
My AHI is still high.
Any suggestions what should I adjust?
the higher pressure setting?
thanks
What settings should I change?
Re: What settings should I change?
You appear to be maxing out the upper pressure setting a good bit of the time...
I would think an increase in both minimum and maximum pressure would be indicated.
The minimum to help hold open the airway better and hopefully prevent the collapse to start with and the maximum just to give the machine more room if it needs it.
I would think probably at least 1 cm to each...probably more but I would start with 1 cm and see what happens.
I take it you don't have the module so you can see what the event categories are and how any pattern (if there is one) might be developing?? The module is needed so you can use regular software and not be tied to just the data from the machine's LCD screen.

Re: What settings should I change?
Do you know what the machine pressure has been set to?
This you will find in the "Clinical Menu" on your machine. So you need to know how to access this menu.
if you PM me I will send you the guide (that was sent to me when i was struggling with my machine).
Also if you read thru all the treads on my "Topic" you will figure out how much adjustments need to be made.
Note: I've always found that adjustments need to be as minimal as possible and left is place for at least 4days to take effect (or for your body to adjust).
