I consider this promising, but not a cure-all. It's still a form of hacking away at tissue in your tongue and throat.
I wouldn't put a lot of faith in it until there's more experience in the long term effects and success rate.

Any updates? I know a doctor who discontinued doing it b/c lack of effectiveness. What of palate radiofrequency?
