Buying XPap on Craigslist

Any tips for buying an XPap on Craigslist? I figured I can check hours and stuff but what if the machine has something wrong with it. Please help with any tips

Don't buy it without trying it. Make sure it runs and check the hours of use. Buyer beware! I bought my S9 on Craigslist and have never has a problem.

As with buying anything from an individual, meet in a public place--for your own safety.
Choose a location with electricity, so you can check if it's quiet, hours used, and works properly.
Know what model you are looking at, and that it is clean and smells OK.

If it matters to you, also ask them if it was used in a house with smokers or pets.

They may lie to you, but at least ask.

Local sales only--long distance/sight unseen/remote exchange (mail, etc); only if you can afford the risk.
