Improving Health Thx to Dr Changing Meds

Post by DannyPh » Sun Oct 20, 2013 2:06 pm

I have been fighting Severe Congestion and Nose Bleeds for some time now. Two Days ago my Dr. changed my B/P meds ( actually increased the dosage ) and gave me a script for Astelin Nasal Spray for the Congestion and allergies. My B/P was reading in the 160's/90's and after two days on the increased B/P meds my reading this morning was 120/70 with No Nosebleeds. Hopefully, this combination will work for me . I know there are skeptics about using Nasal Sprays but I was told by an ENT years ago that astelin Nasal spray has the least amount of rebound effects as do many of the other Nasal sprays. All I can say is Allergies and B/P are Much Better with NO NOSE BLEEDS.

Changing the meds for blood pressure to get it down has the nice side effect of reducing the pressure on the fragile capillaries in your nasal passages.

Congratulations on having a smart and concerned doc.
