You are in luck! Padacheek of this forum (aka Karen) makes just such a thing!!!

http://www.padacheek.com/

Pick out your mask and buy the covers you need. Or, if you have a mask not shown, contact her and she'll make you a custom thing. She's made me several custom things over the years.

I just love Karen. I could make these things myself, but I'm far too lazy, and I've literally buried my sewing machine in a mountain of junk.

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I agree with the padacheek strap covers. They are great... they feel good, but most of all, they eliminate the skin irritation the straps can cause. 4 1/2 hours of quality sleep is better than 10 hours of real BAD sleep. Pre-treatment, I used to sleep over 10 hours and felt really bad. Before I understood about needing to be tested, a nurse responded that I may have sleep apnea. My response was "how can that be?" "I have no trouble sleeping... I'm sleeping over 10 hours a night!" I realize now that it wasn't quality sleep. Nowadays, if I can get 5 hours of sleep, I'm ok, but 6-7 hours of sleep is my "sweet spot".

Keep goin'... Keep goin'... Keep goin'... Keep goin'...

I am new to all of this also! I wish you luck and hope that the nights get better. I was told it could take up to two weeks before I would feel "normal"! It does take some adjusting for us, but the beneies far outweigh the cons! Give yourself some time to adjust.

I don't know who told you "two weeks"... even though it took me a little over 2 weeks to have my "ah-ha" moment. It may take longer for some folks. Some folks get an immediate and noticeable improvement and for some, it's a "gradual" improvement. I'm not trying to rain on your parade or discourage you. I'm being realistic. Early on, a big disappointment can hinder your determination to keep going and be successful. I do hope quick success for you!
