REMstar pro M series with c-flex and Swift FX Bella?

Post by renatae » Wed Aug 28, 2013 6:05 pm

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the bella loops and / or headgear is compatible with the REMstar PRO? I notice it is not compatible with even some of the Resmed products. If so, are there any machine settings that will need changing?

Thanks in advance!

Hubby is also on CPAP - has CA and uses Respironics M series Pro with c-flex.

Oh, Sheeshe. Sometimes I hate spell check, lol. REMstar, not Redstar! Well, maybe that will help get attention from those in the know!

Yes, you can use the Swift FX nasal pillow mask (Bella loops or regular headgear) with the M series machines.
Nothing to change on the M series machine at all.

I think that there was a special older model VPAP ASV machine that it isn't compatible with but that's pretty much it.
The Swift FX can be used with any machine otherwise.

For some reason I can't start a new topic, but my question is related. Finally got hubby to make a follow up appointment, but I can't get the data card out of the REMstar PRO M series. I think they used to ask him to take in the whole machine. Suggestions? Thanks!

Renatae.. just pull it straight out the back, it should "beep" when you pull it out and put it back in. I have an M series and the only time I have trouble pulling it out is when the plug is in the way.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

Thanks, nanwilson! I tried that, but it seems to be stuck, and I was afraid to really force it. It's sticking out enough that it's easy to get a hold of, but it wouldn't budge. I'll try again, though, since now I know that it is supposed to come out if I pull straight. Thanks again!
