Has anyone mastered the SW Anew?

Post by Stormynights » Fri Sep 27, 2013 9:39 pm

I have always liked the Sleepweaver masks but I finally got the Anew for my husband and neither of us has been able to use it. It is such a disappointment. Has anyone been able to use this mask? If so I would like some tips.

I mastered it by mailing it right back to them two days after I got it

The Anew leaked like a sieve for me. I really wanted this one to work and I tried everything my feeble brain could think of.

The ANEW just sucks, plain and simple. I'd rather hook my hose up to a plastic grocery bag. It would be better.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

I am remembering some of the tricks I was given while learning to "ride" my Elan.
Can't wait to try them on the Anew. I really should be using a full face.
Darn my dry mouth--some days I have to drink a bunch of water before I can catch breakfast.

Yea, you may as well go ahead and print up your return label as soon as you get the shipper email.

chunkyfrog, I'd love to hear some ways to be successful with the SW products. I have an Anew ordered, and I really was looking forward to using it. Any help will be appreciated!

I still haven't given up on it yet. It is so different than the other Sleepweaver masks. It doesn't balloon out on the inside like the others so it has to be worn much tighter. Night before last I did pretty good with it. Last night was not so good. The headgear seems to stretch out during the night so you have to keep messing with it. I was really excited about the clips but I hate these clips because for me they are too hard to fasten during the night when I am half asleep. I think if I could just lay still during the night it would be alright but I just flop around too much because of my back pain. I am still looking for any tips.
