Anew mask sleephead???
I am using the new Anew mask and have been noticing the last few nights that at some points during the night there is no data showing up on SleepyHead. I didn't take the mask off, so I am wondering what may be causing this to happen. Any ideas? See chart below.

A break in the pressure and leak graphs as well as the wave flow data usually indicates that the machine was turned OFF and then turned back ON.mystydragonfly wrote:I didn't take the mask off, so I am wondering what may be causing this to happen. Any ideas? See chart below.
Can you check the sessions data? It's on the left sidebar below Statistics section. Does the sessions data indicate that the SH thinks the machine was turned off sometime around 23:20 and not turned back on until about 2:30?
If the sessions data in SH indicates the machine was OFF from 23:20 to 2:30, then you might want to look at the same data in Encore.
Since you don't remember taking the mask off in your sleep, is there any chance there was a power outage or a a power surge that caused the machine to be turned off? If not, is there any chance that something could have caused you to take your mask off without you remembering it? (I do this occasionally when I take Ambien, for example.)
If you are absolutely sure that there was no power glitch and you didn't take the mask off, you might want to call your DME and seem if they can check the machine out to make sure it is working correctly. If the machine is still under warrenty you might get lucky and the DME may be willing to exchange the machine if they can be convinced that the machine turned itself off and then on an hour and a half later.

Re: Anew mask sleephead???
Your pressure starting at 4 Isn't high enough to get a good seal. My husband had this issue because I had to start him off at minimal pressure to get him to keep using his machine. When the pressure is that low with leaks the machine will shut off. Make sure it isn't set to automatically go off. You pressure isn't going up very much at all but I still think you need to raise your minimum to 5 and try that. You have to have enough pressure to get the mask to seal.

Here is the data that I copied from the Sessions section. I am not sure how to read this up against the graph? I do take Ambien, so that is possible I may have turned off the machine and on again. Thanks for your help.
