Saving Data From CMS 50D+??

Post by pikov22 » Tue Sep 24, 2013 1:31 pm

(Dumb question #87)

How do I get the CMS 50D+ to write a data file to my PC?

Thanks.

You want the SPO2 Review software, which I inconveniently do not have in front of me. You can get some guidance from here: http://www.pulseoxstore.com/CMS-50E_INSTRUCTIONS_1_.pdf (it says it's for the 50E, but you really just need the SPO2 Review instructions.

When it connects, if everything's happy (be sure to enter the device's menu with it connected), it should create a new filename when you hit the magnifying glass button. It will then download the data to your computer.

I have the SpO2 Review installed and I can get the data displayed on my computer. I would now like to save it as a file (sp02 file type?) so I can import it to Sleepyhead at my convenience.

The D+ and the E are quite different. For example, when I press the button I get Version 4.2 and then Finger Out. If IO hold the button, I get the Settings screen:
Alarm
Record off
Exit

Ignoring the alarms for the moment, I can turn Record ON and then Exit. I get the flashing dot on the screen when I insert my finger.

The D+ seems to have fewer menus than the E.

I found a guide at http://www.novidion.de/download/Data_Tr ... 0DPlus.pdf. It's mostly in English.

Answer: The software does it when you exit.
It confused me because it did not offer me a choice of where to put the saved file or what to name it.
