Equipment available

Post by julee88 » Wed Aug 21, 2013 3:10 pm

I have a REMstar Pro M Series with C-Flex and heated humidifier with case and instructions manual. I would like to donate it to anyone that could use it.
Here is a link to pictures of the equipment: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jlprc49z6488035/tS9j5890_0

The equipment is no longer available. I have several people interested.

Not sure, but this may have been a scam.

Was in the middle of the transaction and responses stopped. My messages get read but no response. Did anyone else send money?

Luckily I'm only out $18 and still don't have a backup machine. Can anyone help?

I don't see where any money was asked for...how did you loose $18?

I was told shipping would be $18. That checked out with USPS website. Did I do something wrong? Are the PM's public? I thought those were private.

PM's are private, but had you actually arranged a transaction, or just assumed that if you sent in the money you'd get the machine yourself?

This is a warning to anyone that deals with NeedHelp2. I gave him/her the equipment that I was offering because that was the first person who messaged me. They agreed to pay for the shipping cost, which I calculated for them before they agreed. It came to $17.45.

Tracking was included with the shipping, so I know that the equipment was delivered to the address they provided. It has now been over three weeks and this person has lied to me by telling me that they have not yet received the equipment. I am now out the money I paid for the shipping, but it is not about the money. I did them a huge favor by giving the equipment for free, which would normally cost several hundred dollars. All I've asked for in return is to be paid back for the shipping cost that they agreed to pay.

I have given away equipment on this site before and I am very upset about this incident. Hopefully this will help anyone else that deals with this NeedHelp2 person.

OK, both of you have been here awhile. Is there any chance this is just confusion between the two of you? Julee88, does your tracking information show who signed for it (was it signed for?)

I live in a condo ... it's not unusual for my packages to be dropped off with a neighbor. It's also possible it was stolen if a signature wasn't required.

It would be truly despicable if someone cheated you out of the cost of shipping after you went through the trouble to send it. I know it's an older system with not a lot of value, but it had SOME value.

I just hope that isn't what happened.

I, too hope this is not what happened, but this person is no longer replying to my messages. The package shows it was delivered over 3 weeks ago. A signature was not required because that would have cost more money and they didn't want to pay more for the shipping.
