Ultimate Chin Strap

Post by HPM » Sat Sep 21, 2013 8:44 am

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I've been here. Using CPAP since 2006. Past 2 years or so, no major issues. However, a month or so ago, losing air through mouth is a problem. I have various chinstraps with the ruby red working best of late. Even with that good fit, my lips seem to open. Husband says many nights the blowing sound is constant. I wake in morning very groggy and no energy. My stats aren,t terrible but when my AHI is over 2.5', I don,t feel good. No leaks register.
Anyway, I saw a post about the Ultimate Chinstrap and went to that site. I know that some people like this strap and some don't, as it is with masks, machines, etc. my question is, is this site reputable?
Thanks
H.

The Ultimate Chin Strap web site is very reliable. They are great people to buy from, and their customer service is extraordinary! I would highly recommend them.

Russ and Mary are wonderful people to deal with and in my experience they have gone above and beyond in my expectations for customer service and I would not hestiate for a second in reccomending them. They will also give you your money back in the first 30 days if you don't find the product is for you.

As a aside, the chinstrap really did wonders for me so I also have not problem reccomending the product in addition to the people behind it. The biggest issue for me was getting past the first 10-15 minutes of feeling claustrophobic, but after I got past that, the chinstrap got rid of my dry mouth and made an immediate positive impact on my stats.

Hope it helps you too.

i just ordered two from them and they came right away with some hand written instructions on them - i couldn't ask for more and it was BY FAR the best chinstrap i've ever used.

I just purchased one myself. One problem I keep having is a chin strap that works well with a beard. I've torn one up as it was kind of light weight and my beard got the best of it.

Another chin strap I own is starting to chafe my skin. Obviously, this is not comfortable.

The chin straps mentioned in this thread are by far the most expensive chin straps I've run across but if it does the job, I'll be very happy.

Thank you for passing along useful information.
