First of all, you have to believe in Mercola... I have read enough of his stuff to know that I don't, not that I trust all "doctors" either.

Seriously, you need to find something else to do with your time, other than spamming this board with irrelevant information and/or wild theories.

Re: After the "CHOLESTEROL FOBIA" comes "APNEA PHOBIA"
No question marketeers use fear to peddle their products. Way I see it is their unscrupulous use of information does not either confirm or negate the validity of the information they have warped and peddled. With any of their "sky-is-falling" cries, it is always just a percentage of the population who are actually affected by that which they cry out about. To those who actually will end up being one in that statistic, it doesn't matter much that most people will never suffer this malady. Everyone has to evaluate their comfort level with the risks involved for them and pursue treatment as they see fit. Yes, there is much hype over sun protection. But for my neighbor with melanoma, my relative who died from metastatic melanoma, and myself who has had a precancerous lesion of the face treated - maybe we should have paid more attention to the hype. Unfortunately the consumer is left to filter through information they/we are often not qualified to fully understand and are not privy to the inner dealings that can reveal when a campaign is tainted by commercialism. Rarely is a campaign a bold-faed lie. There is an element of truth to ferret out and evaluate. My suspicious mind will continue to do its best to filter the noise and make decisions I'm prepared to live with.

I am interested in buying laetrile for cancer treatment. Surely those who say apnea is not bad know where to get laetrile.

Google laetrile, if you are serious. cyanide--there is a good reason it never made it to mainstream.

Trolls are like a cold virus, they keep coming back. Add a few liters of O2 and call me in the morning.

There are some concerns about liver disease for those taking statins for cholesterol. The FDA used to recommend liver enzyme tests for those taking statins. They decided the testing doesn't improve the odds of liver damage.ems wrote:I googled this because I must admit I was a little concerned. You assert all this with no factual references.
"FDA has found that liver injury associated with statin use is rare but can occur. Patients are advised to consult their health care professional if they have symptoms that include unusual fatigue, loss of appetite, right upper abdominal discomfort, dark urine or yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes"

I saw this also, before I wrote the above post. It was on the Mayo Clinic website. It is considered to be so rare that it isn't worth mentioning and scaring people. A blood test is all it takes. Some people have a serious reaction to aspirin... or coffee.
