Maybe instead of selling this you would get more benefit in learning how to adjust to it. You can get all the help you need here. Just post your issues. You need it or you would never have been given this machine in the first place.

I would bet on the fact that you would benefit from using this machine. However if you are convinced you want to sell it, consider the following.joelchatelier82 wrote:For sale (Neg) is my slightly used Resmed S9 VPAP Adapt Machine along with everything needed for its use, and many extras. I payed just over $6000 AUD for this brand new in Feb 2012. Hours. unknown? I only used it on and off for just under a year so i could imagine very low. happy to find out exact hours somehow upon request.
$2500 AUD
Included-
Resmed S9 VPAP Adapt Machine (Model 36367)
Resmed H5i Heated Humidifer (all internal bits water container etc all seals excellent condition)

Regarding hours, Tap the "i" key twice (or until sleep quality is displayed) and turn the knob until the service screen is displayed. Buyers will want the Run Hours and the SW number off that screen. They will also want the 3rd and 4th digits of the serial number. Good luck with your machine sale.
Most on this site would be looking for the 36037 model and not the 36367 model that you have. The 36367 has the ASV and CPAP modes, the 36037 adds the ASVAuto mode to the mix. On this site the 36037 is offered new on occasion at $1650 US. So your price of $2500 AUD or about $2340 USD is abnormally high for a used machine with lesser technology.
My advise would be to lower the machine price to less than $1000 USD, or find a site with less informed members to sell it on.

Fully agreed. I'm not sure how he paid over $6,000 AUD when an online site located in Australia is selling it brand new for $3,500 AUD.STL Mark wrote:I would bet on the fact that you would benefit from using this machine. Asking $2,500 AUD (or about $2,340 USD) is laughable for a used machine; particularly when the more expensive model (with ASVAuto mode) can be periodically be purchased BRAND NEW for $1,650 USD.
Even Secondwind CPAP (who also ships to Australia) is selling the same "non-ASVAuto" model (36367) brand new, zero hours, for $1,849 USD with a 2-year warranty.

I'm curious about how you got diagnosed with central sleep apnea as opposed to obstructive. I've been trying to convince doctors from day one that I've been suffering from some form of central/clear airway apnea for my entire life to no avail. I only started putting on weight just on a decade ago (28ish) and yet have had these symptoms ever since I can remember. But it seems they refuse to believe me and just ignore my requests, despite the fact that my titrations and all the data from my CPAP machine back me up on my claims. Since I can only get a machine through Medicare (I can't afford it, I can't even get through a day without collapsing asleep for half of it WITH the machine), I need the doctors to say I need a BPAP or APAP.

Guys , its a negotiable sale thread. Not for your own personal questions and jabs. I don't have time for it or have to explain myself. Still negotiable for sale.

Actually, this is a discussion forum. Never intended to be a sale forum. So, people are going to discuss anything that gets posted.joelchatelier82 wrote:Guys , its a negotiable sale thread. Personally, I'm curious to know how you got misdiagnosed for complex sleep apnea. Did they admit to the misdiagnosis?

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

ddk,
You are the client/customer and they work for you. If I had a doctor that refused to listen to me and at least test for something I suspected then he would be fired and I would be seeing a new doctor that did not mind listening to the customer. The entire thing sounds counter-intuitive as they get paid for doing additional tests and procedures.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth
