Modification to Aloha pillows mask

Post by DJL » Fri Sep 13, 2013 8:38 pm

I use the Aloha mask with the tube located over my head, I found the velcro strap which came with it allowed the tube to slide back and forth.
Previously I had tried the Resmed Swift LT pillow mask and liked the plastic over-the-head tube retainer, it allows the tube to be position which helps to hold the pillows against the nose. It works out that the top straps on both masks are the same wide and so I slid the retainer onto the Aloha top straps, between the end of the two velcro strap ends. It allows me to adjust the tube each night (strip mask every morning to wash it) which helps the pillows from being pulled back and forth as I tend to move around a bit during the night.
Its maybe worth trying if you have a problem and have the retainer from the Swift LT.
