Insurance rant . . .

Post by hobbs » Thu Sep 12, 2013 8:51 pm

Wife had hip replacement in February so no more out of pocket expense for the rest of the year. Time for a new S9 I say. Anthem BC says sure just pay $84 a month for 10 months and it's yours and you don't have to pay anything for the rest of this year, but you have a $500 deductible next year. Can I buy it outright? NO! Guess I will buy out of network with 60% reimbursement like last time. It must make sense to someone somewhere? At least her next months neck surgery won't cost anything!

Actuaries have earned their own special place in hell.
May they all roast quite evenly.

Be glad you get 60% re-imbursement. I get nothing from my insurance...nothing. I would love to get 60% back.
