It was the ball joint swivel that bothered me. With it I had leaks. Fewer leaks with the FX hose.

What's the difference between the two tubes?

The only difference between the two hoses is the ball joint on the Nano hose. For some reason, for me, there were more leaks using the Nano hose.

I am interested in the fit of the Nano. The S/M of the Wisp is too small and the L is too big. Does anyone know how the cusion sizes compare?

I would send it back and ask for another hose. Could easily be an out-of-tolerance quality control defect. That's not uncommon on new models of many things. I wonder if any others here who have the new hose that comes with the Nano are seeing the same issue.

Can you confirm if the Nano hose can fit on the Swift FX pillow? I have a question for you regarding the new Swift FX "NANO" nasal mask.

Question:
The hose on the Nano nasal mask it the thing that interests me the most. As I love the Aloha's ball joint swivel, but prefer the Swift FX pillows and headgear. But if the Nano and FX pillow HOSES are interchangeable (the same) so that Swift FX pillow fits on the Nano's ball joint hose....I'd buy a Nano hose just to swap out the hose for my FX. I love the way the Aloha's ball-joint hose moves around as I'm a stomach sleeper (moves up and down as well as side to side).

Hey mon,

This is from the 'User Guide' for the FX Nano on the Resmed website (page 15). It looks to me like the Swift FX mask will work with the Nano:

Problem/possible cause:

Mask does not fit properly.
Mask is incorrectly assembled.

Solution
Disassemble the mask, then reassemble according to the instructions. Ensure that the swivel ring on the elbow has not been inserted too far into the cushion. Check that the printing on the left headgear strap (Swift FX) aligns to the printing on the cushion arm (Nano).

Take care,

I just didn't like the ball joint/swivel on the Nano tube.
