Question on ResCan software
Question on ResCan software
When I look at the detailed view and it shows me the hours and the apnea flags, are these the actual events that I had during that period of time? I told my sleep doc that I am down to 12 events a night and she said "you mean an hour?" I said no the detailed view shows me each event I had for the entire night. is this correct or am I reading it wrong?
Re: Question on ResCan software
You're looking at actual events. The doctor is probably unaccustomed to patients viewing their own graphical data, and the hourly AHI is more accessible. 12 events per night equals an AHI of 1.5 or 2 depending on how many hours you slept, which is very good.

Re: Question on ResCan software
What is your AHI reading? That tells you how many events you had each hour. Some are apneas, some are hypopneas some are centrals.thegrons wrote:When I look at the detailed view and it shows me the hours and the apnea flags, are these the actual events that I had during that period of time? Slight clarification. "That tells you how many events you had each hour on average through the night."LSAT wrote:What is your AHI reading? That tells you how many events you had each hour. The AHI graph, if you're looking at it, shows how many events there are during each one hour period through the night. You'll see it climb during the hour and then reset to zero at the start of the next hour.
