Compliance VIC is blank??

Post by glen4cindy » Thu Aug 01, 2013 9:46 pm

I know I just started with this new machine, and this may be a factor, but, this is a little concerning.

I am supposed to log in on 8/26 (which I know is some time away) and put this code from the Compliance VIC screen in to prove I am using my machine so the insurance will continue to cover my machine.

The first line of this screen is Start Day which shows: -------

I would have thought this would at least show something. I started using the machine 7/26 so there is 6 days of data.

One line shows Days > 4 which is what made me think that this screen would begin showing data on day 5.

The Phone In Compliance screen is showing data, just not this Compliance VIC.

Do I need to call DME?

Thanks.

I can't help with most of this but I believe that "Days > 4" means the number of days you've used the machine for more than four hours.

My first DME (AKA the twit RT at my ex-sleep doc's satellite office) just asked to read the card before the 3 an 6 month followups, so I can't comment on the VIC code either.

If you haven't already have either Sleepyhead 0.9.3 or Encore Basic, ask Pugsy for help getting one of them installed so you can read your card. As long as the card's recording, then you shouldn't worry too much about the VIC code. It's just the Lazy-DME's way of checking compliance when your doc didn't specifically ask them for data.
When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI
