Yes which is why I am no longer posting on here. I do not know why there was so much speculation and why this was blown out of proportion. I will be providing a link for those who would like to take advantage of what I have.

This email seems to be very clearly and professionally composed. The reasoning behind the instruction about not using this site as a marketplace is very clear and reasonable.

Wow Nan, I know you don't give a damm which pretty much says it all doesn't it? You just have to attack me every chance you get and never want to give me the benefit of the doubt. And not to whine but I was posting on three hours of sleep yesterday which has been constant when I use the machine because I can't get this bleeping therapy to work in spite of my best efforts. But of course, you don't give a damm because all you want to do is attack me every chance you get.

And how many times have you seen me complain prior to the post yesterday? Actually, I have it better than alot of people in my position although I am concerned that could change pretty quickly. Another post.

Anyway, didn't your mother teach you if you have nothing to say, don't say it all?

49er please stop your whining... you are not the only one here without insurance to pay for equipment. I don't have insurance either and on top of that I am a senior just living off of government old age pension... but somehow I do just fine. If I need something I save my pennies and shop around for the best deals. You don't hear me complaining I have no insurance I just DO IT. I would not buy from a person that comes on this site to just re-sell equipment either . I would buy from those that are regular patients on here and try to help out like mcdover or stlmark , they have both been around for along time and are to be trusted in their dealings.
There are lots of patients here that have no insurance but you don't hear them whining and crying about it.
Don't bother pming me and telling me how mean and nasty I am again... I really don't give a damn.

Edited to say.. I find it funny that Papman keeps coming back to the thread to add his 2 cents worth..... that is an old merchanising ploy.. keep your face in front of the buyers

Papman, thanks for helping me out in the past. Appreciate you posting your email and if you get some type of link where your current listings can be viewed, I would like to have that as well.

it wouldn't be difficult to set up a private shopping site where sellers from this forum could log in and update a list their current items, prices, and contact info. Users could PM a link to the site to anyone who asks about used equipment, buying and selling could continue among the users of the forum, and cpap.com wouldn't have public sales threads for anyone to see and complain about. Given that the software is available as free open-source and the traffic would be small, the cost of me doing it would be practically nothing except for the time.

This sounds like a great idea.

The email states, "...established sellers" so I would think that would be anyone who falls in that category. Perhaps others have received the same email, but have chosen not to bring it up in a thread?
