What is UARS?

Could UARS register as hypopneas? I'm just wondering what is the definition of UARS. Is there a desaturation of Oxygen levels with it?

Hi - why don't you click on the lightbulb at the top here and you'll find many links, glossaries, etc. that will explain so much - probably better than we could, for basic information on various diagnoses, etc. And then if you have more questions, we'll be happy to try and answer them.

Concise explanation here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upper_airw ... e_syndrome

Definition of hypopnea here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypopnea

If these don't answer all your questions, there are several members here who would enjoy discussing it with you.
