I have been overseas with cpap as the only I needed was a plug adapter to suit that particular country, A lot international airport sell power adapters suitable for various power voltages plugs for other country's power supply. Plus try to take cpap as on board luggage so it doesn't get damaged as the baggage handlers sometimes toss bags and suit cases around a bit or if you have put in luggage get them, the check in clerk to put a fragile sign and make them take not it is fragile luggage because you have cpap in there as well!

As many here know, I'm currently station in Germany and I have traveled to Russia many times. I've never had a problem taking both my carry on and my CPAP machine into the passenger part of the plane. I've even been able to take a large bottle of distilled water on the plane with me inside my CPAP case. The hardest part I've ever had was trying to explain to the Russians at the security check point what my machine was.
Just make sure you have the right plug for the country you're going to and you shouldn't have any problems.

I just returned from a trip to Paris and Israel, took my CPAP machine as a medical device (extra) in carry-on luggage. In the bag I carry a copy of my receipt from the medical supply company showing the make & model (an Rx would be better but I can't find mine). The only problem I had was in returning to the U.S. from Israel on United Airlines, the check-in clerk tried to find my machine on their "approved" list and couldn't find it. Finally she issued a note in my record (and gave me a receipt) saying my machine was "non-approved." When I asked what that meant, she said "it is not approved for on-board usage." I told her I hadn't planned to do that, but she seemed satisfied with herself that she had fulfilled some essential duty, and let me carry it on. I never had to take it out of the bag during security screenings, including for EL Al, I just put it on the conveyor belt zipped up. I did find it hard to find distilled water both in Paris and Israel so I used regular tap water and cleaned the humidifier with vinegar every few days to remove the mineral deposits.
