Help with SleepyHead Graphs

Post by Pekoepup » Mon Jun 17, 2013 10:11 am

My son was able to get SleepyHead downloaded, to my laptop but I am having an issue with the graphs. I am able to view the data for each day but it only shows the graphs for the most recent day. When i change the day of the week, on the calender, the graphs do not change despite the data changing. Am I doing something wrong, is there a glitch or does Sleepyhead only show the current days graphs? I tried to look through old posts to find the answer but I was unsuccessful.

Thanks, Pekoepup

The graphs should change with each day of the week change. I can see year old graphs if I want to go back a year.

What version of SleepyHead is showing in the upper left corner? What operating system is on your computer.

Try rebooting your computer.
If using SleepyHead 9.3 go to Preferences/Appearance tab....remove check mark for "use pixmap caching" (upper right side of the appearance tab)....close SleepyHead...then open SleepyHead and see what happened.

If all else fails...unplug the S9 from power source and then plug it back in.. Then have to wait till tomorrow to see if graphs changed. Sometimes the S9 gets stuck reporting the same stuff...normally the AHI won't change either but hurts nothing to try the reboot of the S9.

It appears that my son downloaded V 9.2 and not 9.3. The laptop is running Windows 7. I will try your suggestions and see if that works. Thanks!

One day I thought my data wasn't showing up but I forgot to click on the red sd to import my data. It wasn't a Sleepyhead problem but a groggy sleepy headed problem.

The S9 should work okay with SleepyHead 0.9.2-1...it has a double session bug though which probably you won't see until you change the clock on the S9.

Mainly 9.3 download is easier for PR S1 users since it includes the Patch file during the install. Much easier for people.

So when you have time go back to the SleepyHead download site but download the 9.3 setup files that are dated May 19 this year. It's out of place and it should be shown as "this is the latest" but it isn't.

So even with 9.2-1....you should have different graphs for different days.

Whoops. Now, I am no longer getting any graph data. My son downloaded version 9.3 and I turned off the "use pixmap caching" but now that graph area remains blank. I do not even see the current day's graphs. I am not sure what is going on. I can see the data for each day except for 6/16 when the SD card indicated that there was no data. I have no idea why since the card was in the machine and it should have captured the data. Any other suggestions? Maybe try another computer once the SD card reader arrives in the mail.

Couple of things to check out.

First...go into the clinical menu of the S9 and make sure that Sleep Quality is set to "On"..maybe it got changed over to usage by mistake some how.

Second...Try creating a new user in SleepyHead and thus creating a new location and see what happens.

Barring that....maybe we need a phone consult and I will walk you through getting it installed and working properly.
I have done it before. It's quicker, easier and just much less hassle than trying to write notes back and forth and not being able to convey thoughts optimally. I don't mind. Send me a private message....if you want to do that.

Thanks, Pugsy. I will try your suggestions and if I am unsuccessful, I will message you my number. I am so sorry to be so needy and to be taking up your time. I tried all the obvious things but I wasn't getting anywhere.

That's no problem. Just let me know if we need to chat.
After tonight it will be hit or miss for me for a while. My daughter and grandson will be here tomorrow so I won't be around as often here on the forum while they are here but I will still stop in every now and then to check PMs.
So until July 8th I won't be on the computer nearly as much as I am now.
Hopefully we can get you straightened out. I can't imagine what the problem is so the only thing I know to do is start fresh and walk you through all the steps that way I know what is being done (or not done).

PS...I will be up late tonight...lots of housework to do to get things ready.
So I will be around tonight late.
