I had septoplasty surgery 3 weeks ago. I feel good now and I can finally breath thru both nostrils. I am 29 years, and I am thin. I thought this surgery was going to completely cure my sleep apnea, but it didn't. Before septoplasty my 95% of air pressure was 11.2. Now my 95% pressure is 8.1. So, definitely I see a difference. I am using nasal pillows and before my air leak was about 11-16. Now it is barely from 1-3 air leak.
I would definitely do this surgery again and again, even though it wasn't a cure. I know it is a deception, but my pressure went down and I can breath thru my nose like a regular person. I just want to tell everyone here, if you have a deviated septum go for the surgery, most likely it will help you with your sleep apnea.
Septoplasty surgery did not cure me, but it did help.

Been a few years I wouldn't...

Yes, I would do it again if it were necessary!
It is so nice to be able to breath through my nose!

That is great news to hear as I know you were concerned about whether you should undergo this surgery or not. I am so happy for you.

I had it done and it made absolutely no change in my pressure....(I really didn't expect it to).
