Is anyone using the Tap Pap mask

Post by Rhyan » Mon Jun 10, 2013 8:16 pm

I have been using CPAP for years and an using nasal pillows for most of the time I have been using my machine. My problem is I have a tiny head. I have seen the Tap Pap mask and am wondering if anyone can tell me how it works for them. Or if you can suggest a mask that might work without leaking. I don't wear a conventual mask as they leave sores on the bridge of my nose.

There are two threads on the Tap Pap on the front page. Both have lots of info from those of us who are using it.

Personally, I love it.

I have not been using mine for the past month. Tonight I tried fitting it again, but it was uncomfortable to push on. Obviously, I need the. Mark Two version that is on it's way to me right now. The new design offers a more comfortable fit, so we shall see.

While I was using the Tap Lap I discovered that I really need a large size pillows. Also, when using my second favorite mask, the Aloha, I am getting better results with the large pillows. Last night my AHI was 0.29! Down from 31 apneas/hour.

Isn't it amazing? I went from 63 events/hour to less than 1. I've even had a few zero nights. If I have a number above 1, I wonder what went wrong!
