My son, who is 3, last night told me, "I wish I had a sleep-pap machine just like you, momma" It was the cutest thing! I told him that hopefully he will never need one, but if he does when he's older, I'll get him one. He said he wanted an orange one, not a white one
I told him it was my 'sleep machine' to help me sleep - and he must have heard me talking about it as CPAP - and now calls it Sleep-PAP - I was afraid he would be scared of it - but apparently he's not - just thought I'd share!
aawwwwwwwww too cute!

That is cute!
Aww that is cute! I hope he never has to use one also. Coming from a family with a father and brother both having sleep apnea, I'd start looking for signs asap. Wish we had known when my dad was alive what it was he had! And once I was diagnosed and called my mom to tell her..she says "you know, I think you've had that for years!" Now she tells me!
Wow, that's so cool, Woozle!
I think it's great to let children know what it looks like and all.
I've read once where people were too embarrassed to even let their children see the mask or machine.
But I say show them. That way they just think it's a normal thing. But more importantly, they will grow up understanding and be sympathetic and alert to others who might be experiencing sleep apnea.
So cute. Tell your son the mask is a fighter pilot mask!
