How do I prevent my mask from leaving a red line on the bridge of my nose?
Thanks-

In many cases, that is an indication that the mask is too tight. However, sometimes that is what is required to get a good seal (I went though that a while back...with the same nose-bridge issues). Some people will place a band-aid or tape on the bridge of their nose to reduce the swelling or reaction. Some have also mentioned the use of moleskin on the mask, where it touches that part of the face. I found that I had to switch to a different mask type altogether...(nasal pillows).

In addition to possibly being too tight, it also may be the wrong size. There's a mask sizing guide on CPAP.COM that may help.

Nose bridge redness
I'm a newbie with nose bridge issues also. I have been using a small gauze pad between the nose bridge and the mask. A dab of over the counter cortisone cream helps with any skin redness. I am having a talk with my doc next week about switching to nasal pillow interface.
