The other night I actualy wished I could air condition cpap!

Post by simplyme » Sat May 25, 2013 12:20 am

We had a couple of hot nights recently and living on the second floor with windows to the hot afternoon sun and an old not well insulated house makes my place crazy hot! The air was so stifling hot that I wished my vpap had an air conditioner on it!
It has a humidifyer, so they should make an ac unit for sumer right? Heehee. Suppose the ac would really dry out our noses and mouths… guess I just have to cool the place down with the window ac unit to the temp that keeps my air feeling breathable, even though that temp made me have to use blankets, I had to set it about 70 when usually I am most comfortable at about 74 at night. It just seems dumb to have the ac so cold and then put on more blankets but sleep is important.

I run ac, summer and winter set to 62, it wont go colder, room temp 71 degrees. Almost just right, if it would go down to 60 Id be happy. Jim

At 62 I freez that is what it gets down to in my place in the winter. And that is with a room heater and the building's forced air heat. Love old houses with no insulation

You are from Indiana too, you mean you aren't tough? At work I'd wear a t-shirt in the shop with it 10 degrees f at floor level, the woman in the parts department would get chills when ever I went to get parts. Working I made a lot of heat, kept busy. I do have 3 layers on the bed. Jim

LOL I'm not tough at all! I'm freezing no matter where I go. It's kind of sad really
