Best Mask for Resmed or Respironics

Post by terence999 » Fri May 24, 2013 3:46 pm

I need a new full face mask and my supplier only has the big market masks. I have tried many masks. Is there some concensus on which are a few of the better and proven masks out there. I even tried a total face mask which is like wearing a bowl on your face. I looked at the Mojo by sleepnet but my supplier does not have these. My main problem is the masks tend to irritate my face and leakage. If I get the mask tight enough to stop leakage and get red marks on my nose and face. Not tight enough I have leakage and a hurricane blowing all night.

Have you tried going on a supplier website like cpap.com, sort by type of mask you're looking for, and scroll looking for the highest ranked?

Some of the mask have thousands of users, so it gives you a pretty good gauge. Then purchase return insurance just in case.

Thanks, I will do that! I thought between the doctor, lab and DME I would just have to get used to a mask. I did not know the pain and frustration I would face. Doc tells me I will die or have a stroke if I don't control apnea and then just tells me to find a mask that fits.
