Finally! Dreams!
I've been dreaming for the past 2 nights. It's been a long time since I remember doing that. Got almost 7 hours last night, too, but the funny thing is I went to sleep with the Quattro on and woke up with the True-Blue nasal mask... Must have gotten up and changed them for some reason...

Wow a new sleep disorder....what shall we call it......mask-moving sysdrome.....rem related mask removal syndrome......delayed phased change out disorder. just some sugestons.
glad the dreams are there....a very good sign of sucessful OSA treatment.

Re: Finally! Dreams!
I've had some pretty bizzare dreams since starting cpap. Never changed masks without knowing it. I don't even own two masks
Re: Finally! Dreams!
I also noted when I started CPAP that my dreaming increased and became less weird; i.e. they made more sense. I can also remember the dreams better, it that makes any sense....

Re: Finally! Dreams!
My pre-cpap dreams were strenuous, disturbing, and bizarre.
I think I remembered them all--and still do.
Now my Zeo says I dream around an hour and a half each night, often more.
I rarely remember a thing.
Now I can stay awake long enough to read a book.
Even a hack author is better than the gremlin who "wrote" my nightmares.

Can't wait to be able to use the machine long enough to fall asleep and have dreams again! Without the machine my dreaming is scarce and wispy.

My dreams are pretty weird, anyway, but in a good way. That's what makes them fun. I can't wait to get back into lucid dreaming, that's REALLY fun.RoRo wrote:I also noted when I started CPAP that my dreaming increased and became less weird; i.e. they made more sense. Re: Finally! Dreams!
I think it is so true about remembering dreams. I've only started even being aware that I just had a dream within the past week or so. I started cpap last August and I don't think I had one dream in all that time that I was even vaguely aware of. Changes are happening for sure. Now, dreams along with more energy and willingness to do projects that I set aside awhile back. I'm now averaging about 5 plus hours every night of sleep.
