17 days in, By my sleepyhead results, I noticed a pattern of CA events (15-20) within the first 30 minutes of sleep.
I am on an ASV machine. (never been on CPAP) Could this be me "fighting" the machine?
I keep hearing that ASV takes longer to get used to...

I remember seeing people saying its common to have centrals spear at the sleep wake junction.
Out of curiosity... how do you know when your falling asleep?

My guess (not being a sleep doctor, plus being somewhat new to this technology), is that your 'lizard brain' which takes over at night, simply needs more time to adapt to this new breathing technology. Anybody else care to weigh in For what it's worth Show us some Sleepyhead waveforms.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Here's the research article that notes central apneas during the transition to and from sleep are normal:
Ventilation is unstable during drowsiness before sleep onset

Thank you Johnbfisher.
It is nice to see a scientific journal with source info.
