I realize this is a very old thread, but wonder if anyone has actually discovered the problem.
I'm using Version 03.14.017 and have the same problem with 'print crashes' as those described above, but I'm using Windows XP Pro 32 bit (4gb RAM) and plenty of hard disk space. I have both Adobe Acrobat 11 and Foxit installed as well as all the latest updates.
While as a physician AND patient AND computer geek, I am in awe of the Resmed S9 Autoset, I am somewhat less than impressed with the clunkiness and instability of the Rescan software. After Rescan crashes my hard drive continues to grind intermittently as if it is attempting to access some data, and this persists even after the program reloads unless I reboot the computer.
Certainly another way to print out reports could be found by the software developers. I do not have this report print problem with ANY other software, and I have significant experience with software.
Just thought someone should know this software still has bugs.
Thanks in advance for any tips/tricks/suggestions (yes, I know about ALT-PRINT-SCREEN but some reports are more than one screen shot full and it seems extremely kludgy.

Re: rescan crashes when saving or printing reports
I use the free "Screen Hunter" software to take a "screen shot" of an image which is automatically saved on the Desktop. From there I download it into the "Photobucket Image Hosting" and there I get a link to post it here. I do the same with data on SleepyHead program, and any other image.

Re: rescan crashes when saving or printing reports
Don't know if this will help anyone, but I was just able to save a 15MB, 30-day report as a .pdf file. It's huge and looks fine to me, includes all the data for the 30-day period, a lot of graphs. Since this is for a longer period than the ones that people were complaining about, I thought that I'd mention that the problem seems to be fixed now. I'm sure that there are other problems, but this particular one appears to have been fixed.
This is using ResScan version 4.2.

Re: rescan crashes when saving or printing reports
I was able to get ResScan 4.2 to cpapanon. Alas, no joy.
Since so many of use are able to save pdf reports from ResScan without issues and since we don't have members coming here now with multiple complaints as to crashes related to saving the reports...we wonder if the problem is related to a conflict within his own computer. It has a bit of age to it...not a dinosaur by any means but maybe something in it that doesn't play nice with ResScan.
He has access to a Win 7 computer and is going to try 4.2 on it.
