Is there an easy way to download a thread?

Post by dllfo » Sat May 27, 2006 11:30 pm

There are so many great threads on this forum and my memory is way to short so I was wondering if there is an "easy" way to download this info?

I normally download to MS Word. I can hit Control A and Control C...then
download it to a MS word file.

But the format is not exactly what I wanted. I would prefer to just download
the text without copying each part of the thread separately.

What would be ideal for me would be to click on each thread I want and copy it to a MS Word file without even having to open the thread.

Anyone found a quick way to do this? Nighthawk Eye or DSM or Brasshopper
or Rested Gal...do YOU do any downloading??
Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.

I LOVE the SV.

Adobe Acrobat will do it easy enough... well, for the page, not the "thread". Could do the thread too, really, but that would take a bit of setup I think. Is this case the pdfs would be searchable as well, so that's nice. One could always manually go to the nth page in a thread and pdf it, tho. Seeing as how ,ost threads don't surpass one page here, manually should work fine.

With a little setup (just making sure the settings are ok), one could pdf the entire site with just a click

There are open source pdf-esque things out there.

'Course, it'll retain the formatting.
