Anyone else use this?
Just got mine today - it was the machine my sleep tech specifically recommended, and I have to say I'm impressed so far with how easy it seems to use.
Any helpful hints or caveats for a newbie?
This is the first time I've used Pap at all, first diagnosis - pressure of 22/15.

ResMed VPap III w/H21 humidifier?
Mod. Severe OSA - 83/hr. w/sats min'd at 75% - averaged at 93%
I have one (but not quite in my possesion yet ).
That pressure range you are on looks very high.
I guess my 1st comment is that you are going to have some challenges getting a good seal on your mask & if you can lick that challenge you will be well on the way to improvement.
The 2i H/H is a bit fiddly to fill but generally works well.
Do you plan to access the data using AutoScan software ?
DSM

Well, yes - that was my "shock moment" - seeing the titrated pressure being so high on my study results. I didn't have a clue that my need was "that" serious - but it's a blessing of sorts to have it in black and white - no more mysteries.
When I went to have the machine set up at the DME, we had a bit of a time testing for leaks, but found a mask/headgear tension that seems to work.
Didn't seem to have much trouble getting a "rise" rate that worked (if that's even what it's called) - the length of time from inhale pressure to exhale pressure change. Very comfortable once it "matched."
I'll update the thread tomorrow after a full night with it if there's any worthwhile insight to pass on.

As to the AutoScan software - I imagine that's going to be a "no" or an "if I can afford to buy the adaptor in future out-of-pocket."
It wasn't offered to me, though in the instruction manual, it shows the adaptor piece and there's a section describing how data gets synced.
The data-compiling/sharing feature is what I like about other Respironics machines, and was a tad disappointed when i realized that my doc prescribed the ResMed machine specifically - thinking I missed out on that...I'm a bit of a gadget/info junkie . But knowing it's an option is a cool thing.

I just recieved the same machine today also. My prescribed pressure is 22/20. I'm a little worried about the high pressure, but that pressure during the my last study got me to an AHI of 0. Hopefully I'll be able to tolerate it and see good results.
My DME did not seem knowledgable about the bilevel machine so I'm not sure he set anything except for the prescribed pressure. He did set the ramp up feature though.
