Extra machine//What to do???
Since I have recieved my new machine.I clean'd up my Elite&have put it back in the closet corner.Just wondering, how often should I pull it out&plug it up&let it run.Your does it really matter? It has been in the dark since Dec.Thought about selling it.But,on the other hand it is paid for.was just wondering about any thing I need to do to it?

just keep a spare filter around. Maybe store it with a desiccant pack or two and it'll be fine.
When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Use it to dry your hose when you wash it--maybe once a month; more if your dust bunnies are adventurous.
Maybe sell it cheap to someone who can't afford a machine; or even donate it.

Have thought about just selling it.But,my new one is own'd by my employer.I'm just afraid if I do sell it&if"I hope not"I ever loose my job it will have to be sent back.I will have my old one to go back to using .Drive a truck. So I have to stay on it.Just really not sure how often I should pull out&clean&run a little.

Yes, that sounds like a plan. Put it in a gallon ziploc (or the travel case) with a couple of desiccant packs.
That should be OK. Running it for a half hour every couple of months should keep the lubricant distributed.
if that even makes a difference!

+1 ... You never know when the machine you're using will decide it's tired (and broken)squid13 wrote:Keep it for a backup machine.
Sleep loss is a terrible thing. People get grumpy, short-tempered, etc. That happens here even among the generally friendly. Try not to take it personally.
