Does anybody have a source for a LOW COST DC
power plug to fit this unit? I want to go camping and
I have lots of 12v DC power available.
The plug is a round, shielded 3-prong male.
Any info about the pin-outs will also be helpful.

Greetings,
The cord you need is sold on our site at:
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/DC-Power-Kit.html
It looks exactly like the AC plug you have now but has the DC connection.

Daves_pro2,
If you
Wantrest,
The power draw depends on the pressure your machine is putting out. There are max current draws listed in the owners manual, but typical draw is less than half whats listed. I'm not sure I would want to rely on my starting battery though. You might consider one of the self-contained 12V DC power units that are available and recharge it while the engine is running. Just a thought.
If you
You might want to go with an inverter instead. Its A LOT cheaper and works quite well as long as you don't try to power a heated humidifier. I've read that inverters will damage the humidifier.have lots of 12v DC power available.

Check with your DME and you can probably use a 12v DC cord from the Manufacturer of your machine (Resmed) I have one for my Cpap.
You can also buy an invertor but I would venture to say try contacting your DME and see if a 12v dc cord is available.
I use my 12vdc cord in my motorhome and it seems to work fine hooked to the chassis battery. And if you are driving everyday you should be fine.
Before I would do that though check with the Manufacturer or your DME.
