I have two cats, both of which sleep on the bed, one curled up with me.
I've never found a hair in my Swift FX pillows or Quattro FX nasal. And I leave my mask
on top of My S8 next to the bed. My cats have never been interested in / scared of my machine
or mask. I have found plenty of cat hair on the filter. I just pull it off and replace the filter.
I can't see how a hair could get into your mask during a leak. Since the pressure inside the
mask is higher than the room pressure, all of the air flow is one way -- out.
Cat hair!

Re: Cat hair!
Another vote for a damp wipe before putting your mask on. That's what I do b/c no matter how careful I am about cleaning in the morning/daytime storage, I always find a few cat hairs on my mask before bed.
I share my bed with 2 or 3 depending on their moods and one who loves to scratch her chin on my mask.
