Hello dearest forum members. I've missed you!
Things are going as well as can be expected with us. My husband is still going through chemo, but we're making sure we keep having fun and keeping our spirits up. And both of us are 100% adjusted to the hose-head life -- neither of us can sleep without them now!
I wanted to post a quick little hack that's made my CPAP life a lot better. I currently use a Resmed Liberty Hybrid mask, and I love everything about it except the occasional slipping of the nasal pillows out of my nose. Some people have had luck with the ladies' tights trick, or the loop of dental floss around the pillows, and those worked so-so for me. But! One day I realized I had an extra "barrel cozy" for the Swift FX from Padacheek (see here: http://www.padacheek.com/PACSwiftII_Barrel_cozy.html), and so I slipped it on over the regular Padacheek hybrid liner I use every day. And it was AMAZING. The barrel cozy stabilizes the nasal pillows, propping them up a little, and makes them never slip out! Best addition to my set-up in a long, long time. If you use a hybrid, might be worth a try.
Much love to you all!
