Hey all. I'm new here also. I just ordered one of the new Respironics RemStar Plus M series with the humidifier unit all in one. I started 2 months ago with the Invacare Polaris Plus. I travel for a living so it has become a burden, and since it hasn't converted over from rental to purchase with the insurance agreement I changed vendors (the one I had has a bad attitude about customer service so I'm voting with my feet as they say). I just switched over from a nasal mask to full face mask (the Fisher & Paykel FlexFit 431 model).

WOW what a difference. I slept like a baby with no fiddling around during the night. I hated that darn chin strap as I'm a mouth breather and without it tended to breach during the night and get that leakage. Now everything is staying put with no leaks and great comfort. I didn't think it would be possible with a full face mask, but this one sure fits nice. It came with 3 separate sized inserts to accommodate about anyone you could imagine. I don't have to crank it down terrible for a good seal. Also I sleep on my left side about 80% of the time and that doesn't effect the fit at all. In fact it is BETTER on my side. It has a nice sliding bar that autoadjusts for such things. I took to the CPAP overall like a duck to water. I put ear plugs in at night to ward off outside noise, and the constant slight whir I hear lulls me to sleep. Since I got on CPAP therapy my work has greatly improved and my boss now complements me on my performance (whereas before he was not happy). It has transformed my life and levels of concentration and thought. I hope this for all of you out there.......

My DME told me that rep's for masks/machines will sometimes log in and give a 'testimonial' just like the one here for more business - sounds like a commercial to me!
