Hi was just wondering what mask works better?????
I have the nasal pillows but sometimes they leak and was wondering if a different one would be better I sleep on my side so I know there would be a limit to the ones I can get.

Puritan Bennett's Breeze, Aieomed's Headrest (formerly Aura )and (one I haven't used) Respironcs' Comfort Lite 2 are all kinder to side sleepers who switch from side to side. The Swift's asymetry makes side sleeping problematic for some of us.

What size "Pillows" are you using? Sometimes going up to a larger size (if your not to the large already) does the trick! They should have sent you 3 (small, medium, large) sizes with the Swift! For me it has been one of the most leak resistant masks I've had and I've had many!
Just a thought!

I also had the old breeze but for me it didn't work out too well as I am a back (mostly) and side sleeper and it wasn't too stable for me especially on my back! Like I said the Swift has been the best for me since it came out. I think you will fare better with the medium as far as leaks go and you might find it is even more comfortable with more pillow surface at the tip of the nares! IMO if you get this mask adjusted well for you it is one of the very best! Give the med. pillow a try and you might be very surprised!
Hope you sleep well tonight!!!

Doddie, the Breeze does usually work very well for people who sleep on their sides and turn from side to side. As ufo pointed out, it's not so good if you sleep on your back any at all.
I used the Breeze for about a year and loved it. I did have to add an extra homemade strap down near the bottom, as the optional stabilizing "halo" strap that comes with it didn't go down far enough to suit me.
I used the Breeze with a soft homemade strap place down lower than usual... like this:

Later, when I tried the Aura (now called "Headrest") by Aeiomed, I liked that even better for side sleeping. Ditto, the ComfortLite 2. I use a homemade strap (or two) with those, also.
Breeze is still a good one. Just be sure to get the Large nasal pillows for it (light green colored ones), as they are softer than the Mediums (clear colored.) I have a small nose and small nostril openings, but the Large pillows for the Breeze are more comfortable...they seal very well more to the outside of the nostrils.
DME's generally would fit you with a size that would have to be crammed up into the nostrils to seal. With the Breeze, the soft, smushy "Large" pillows are almost always a better choice, imho, for most women. Even if you have a small nose.
Hint -- with ANY mask, but especially the Breeze, it's a good iidea to rig up a way to hang the main air hose above your head. Route the Breeze's connector hose upward. Many of us fasten an elastic ponytail holder...a "scrunchy"...on the headboard or the wall, to run the main air hose through. Keeps the weight of the air hose from tugging on a mask when you turn over.

Everything rested gal said in the above post will prove very helpful to you if you get the breeze! Sorry, I did not remember RG's excellent strap fix for the breeze. RG commes up with so many excellent fixes for so many problems we have with equipment etc, and gives such great advice in general to help ALL of us, it behoves anyone to pay close attention to what she has to say! I know I do!
On another note, did you try the larger pillow( med or large) for the swift, and did it improve the seal for you?

Hi Steve
yes I tried the med it seems to work pretty good last night the only problem I had was my straps on my head gear came loose and came off so guess I had it too loose so guess I will need to put it a little tighter
Thanks everyone for all your help
leaving in the morning for a must needed vacation hope the gas prices don't eat me up but as I was filling up my car today the gas went down from 2.77 to 2.65 hope it keeps going down.

Did you put the velcro strips on the back straps? I think it will help you get this interface "fine tuned"! So I guess you will be comming through on I-15 through Mesquite to ST. George UT! I am in Salt Lake City at my son's house for awhile! Be sure to stop at the OASIS CASINO and have the $1.99 gamblers special for breakfast (served 24 hrs) It's good! Hope you have a great vacation!
Best to you,
Steve,

Glad you had a good vacation! Yes the fix I use when this mask leaks at those spots is pull them out, wrap the joint with plumbers teflon tape(dollar store has it) and snap them back together!
best to you,
