Sleep Health Centers gone..now where do I go?

Post by jarablue » Tue Mar 05, 2013 10:06 am

I wanted to know what you guys are doing for finding another sleep provider? I am in Boxborough MA and have no idea where to go. Should I just talk to my PCP and have him refer me to somewhere?

I am in need of filters, hosing and a mask and just need to follow up with my sdcard/care.

What is everyone doing who went to SHC?

Thanks!

Do you need a new sleep doc? New referral sounds right.
For supplies, contact your insurance provider for a list of in-network vendors.
If you are out of pocket, it might be time to save loads of money and buy online.

Ask your PCP (or even your dentist) to write you a prescription. You can also request a copy of your prescription from your sleep provider if you're able to track down where they sent your medical records. (They're required to give it to you.)

You have an S9 - buy a cheap cardreader at wallmart and load sleepyhead software on your computer and track your own data. Just pretend you are diabetic and you need to see your glucose levels.

Post the charts here if you need help interpreting them. Get your PCP to write any prescriptions you need.
