My last 30 Day Report

Post by Lugnut » Thu Feb 28, 2013 8:03 pm

I did the quick smart code.

Says in the last 30 days (Haven't had it that long as of yet).

% of days at least 4 hours 96%
Day Count 24
Days at least 4 hours 24
AHI - 6.0
High Leak Flow Time 1%
NRI 2.00
EPI 2

Not really sure what Non-Responsive Event Index means.. (NRI) of 2.
or
What Exhale Puff Index (EPI) is.. of 2 as well.

Look good though?
Wonder how the machine does all this just by me breathing. Crazy. Was kind of shocked to see that the Apenea/Hypopnea Index was at 6!

Check this out for terminology explanations and see if it helps.

Looks great.
I wouldn't be too concerned about AHI of 6. People without sleep apnea can have an AHI of almost 5. (Anything under 5 is normal)

If you're feeling tired or waking up, maybe speak to your doctor. He might tweak the pressure a little. But looks like you're going good

Hi,

Are you able to get more detail level data and graphs out of this machine? If so, the events graph, leak graph, and pressure graph would be interesting to see. The idea is to see what kind of events you are having, and see if they are correlated with leaks or with the pressure settings.

What did your AHI start as?
An AHI of 6 really isn't too bad.

Hi,

Well, that varies by person. I am a total zombie if my AHI is above 2.5. I think that the better your treatment works, the more you get used to feeling good, and the more you notice it when you have an off night. I shoot for an AHI of under 1, and I pretty often achieve that. I guess it all depends on the person.
