Re: Swift fx
You are going to hear good and bad about every mask out there.
One man's treasure is another man's trash.
At cpap.com you can check the cost of their return insurance and the Swift FX is probably one of the lowest costing return insurance. This means they don't get many of them back.
I have been using one for nearly 3 years now.. I guess that tells you how I feel about it.
It is a very popular mask among both men and women. No mask is going to be perfect for everyone and the only way you will know how it works for you is to try it.

Re: Swift fx
I have the same setup as you with the machine and humidifier. The DME gave me a swift fx to try because I pulled off the optilife mask 3 nights in a row without even realizing that I did it. I don't know if its a subconscious thing or what but I need to find something I won't take off. Kind of hard to get good therapy when you take off your mask lol

I use the Swift FX for her and I love it! I can read and watch TV with it on... and honestly, I don't even feel it anymore.

Re: Swift fx
I've been using the Swift Fx for over a year with great success due to the Lansinoh ointment, Pad-a-Check barrel cozy & straps. (thanks to this forum!) The first year, I would use the Mirage Fx nasal 3-4x/mo,just to get my nostrils adapted; but I have deformed cartilage per ENT, so most would not need to have such a lengthy adjustment period. Although the Bella loops are even more minimal, the angle didn't fit my cartilage deformity. The standard headgear is easy to fit and stable.

Love it. Love it, love it, love it. I've tried a wide variety of nasal pillows/prongs and settled into the fx like a second skin. The velcro at the back of the headgear is currently being held in place with some safety pins, but I'm extremely happy with the lightweight design and unobtrusive (and soft!) nasal pillows.
I actually had my nasal pillow split (was past due for replacement) and had to go back to my swift LT for the weekend. What a nightmare.. I don't know how I survived with it each and every night.
But, like someone has already said, individual experiences *will* vary. Thankfully, I couldn't be happier with the mask, myself.

Re: Swift fx
I like my Swift FX nasal pillows because they don't interfere with my face very much, that are pretty stable, they are very minimalist by design, plus they deliver the pressure that I need while totally keeping my damaged nasal passages open. None of my attempts at using several nasal or or full face masks succeeded in doing all this. That's not to say that I won't try another brand of nasal pillows in the future, but for now I'm fairly happy.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: Swift fx
My AHI went up a little last night with the swift fx, still under 5. I had a 3.6 last night with the swift fx the DME gave me to try. I'll see what happens tonight. So far mask is comfortable and I didn't pull it off in my sleep

Re: Swift fx
I love the Swift FX. The only issue I have is that I tend to destroy the small hose quickly.
I guess I am somewhat "active" during my sleep...

SpO2 96+% and holding...
Re: Swift fx
If you put the fx on with the pillows upside down, and the headgear with the cloth strap over the top of your head instead of at the back, they are fairly uncomfortable.
If you sleep like that for a week like I did, you will really love the FX when you wear it properly.
